My Background

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I am very excited to be a part of your health and wellness journey and I am sure you are wondering who is this person writing this amazing content, so here is a little something about me.

I started my health profession with a Bachelors of Science degree in Fitness and Leisure Management.  After college I began my career at the Olympic Training Center working for the USA Volleyball teams and went through the 1996 Olympics with this fantastic organization. I then spent 12 years as a personal trainer at the prestigious Cooper Fitness Center in Dallas, TX. I worked with all populations from athletes to chronic illness patients. At that time I also contracted at the Michael Johnson Performance Center. I have always maintained personal training clients, lecturing at many events and mentoring and leading personal trainers in their careers.

I do consider myself an expert in the field with 25 plus years experience. I am very science oriented and believe in safe, effective and functional workouts.  

Being a woman over 40 years old and mom of twin boys, I understand the difficulties of maintaining a good metabolism and weight. It definitely gets harder as we get older.  That is why I love to work with women over 40 because I have been there and done that, but anyone who wants to get fit and work on their overall fitness, I am here for you. Young or young at heart,  physically active or needing the push to be, I can help you get where you want in your fitness journey with sensible and effective workouts designed just for you and your body type.
